These Terms of Use apply when you access or use TrueDNA.
1. Acceptance
By downloading, opening, or using TrueDNA, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Nature of the Service
TrueDNA is an entertainment and informational app that uses AI to generate ancestry-themed insights from your inputs and optional face scan.
The app is not a scientific testing service, genetic verification service, medical device, or identity verification service. Results are estimates and creative interpretations, not facts or guarantees.
3. User Inputs and Consent
You are responsible for the images and information you submit. You should only upload or scan a face image if you have permission to do so and if you are comfortable with the app processing it.
You may be asked to accept privacy, terms, and AI consent before using certain features.
4. Subscriptions and Purchases
Some features may require a paid subscription or one-time purchase. Payments are handled through Apple’s in-app purchase system, and subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled in your Apple account settings before the renewal date.
5. Prohibited Use
You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, or use it in a way that breaks applicable law or harms others.
6. Availability and Changes
Features may change over time, and parts of the app may be added, removed, or updated without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time.
7. Disclaimer
TrueDNA is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or that the app will meet every expectation.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
